Frequently asked questions
What is the link between CINARS, CINARS Biennale and CINARS Network?
CINARS is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote and support the export of the performing arts. Every two years, we organize the CINARS Biennale, an international networking event where presenters can discover new shows. CINARS Network is a web initiative to enhance contacts beyond the Biennale and make them work all year long.
Who is CINARS Network for?
CINARS Network is destined to presenters, venues owners, festivals organizers, as well as artists, artistic companies, and their representatives. The only people that should subscribe are performing arts professionals.
When subscrbing, the system says my email address is already used. What should I do?
Most of CINARS Biennale participants have been pre-registered on the CINARS Network. Please check your email account to get your login informations. If you still cannot access the platform, contact us at email@example.com.
I want to register a show but I don't have access to the video right now. Is it essential?
Yes. A show's video is the main way to get noticed by presenters. You must add a video for your first artist and his first show. The same process will apply to the other artists and shows to be added.
I cannot upload my video. Why?
At this moment, only a few formats are fully supported and the file cannot be extremely large. Make sure that your video is in .mp4, .avi, .mov, or .flv, and that its size does not exceed 100 Mb. Only the first two minutes of the video will be shown to the presenters.
How to add other artists, artistic companies and shows to my account?
To add an artist or an artistic company, go to "My Account", then look under "Artists and shows". Click on "Add an artist". Adding an artist requires to add one of its shows. Make sure you have a video file for the show. To add a show to an existing artist on CINARS Network, click on the pencil icon and then on "Add a show".
How to add other agents or representatives?
In "My Account", under "International agents", click on "Add an agent" and fill the form. You will then be able to associate him or her with the show you want by modifying or adding a new show.
How to preview my artists' page?
In "My Account", under "Artists and shows", click on the eye icon.
